Hi Scott.

That's great to hear. Sounds like Mac is really stable.

Hey, I have one of the first generation Imacs and I haven't had any
real problems other than the DVD drive going bad, but that has nothing
to do with design etc. That's just a component that can fail whenever
the mood strikes it. grin
I would only consider waiting to see if Apple is adopting the new
Firewire standard which apparently has a throughput of something like
2 or so gigs. Don't quote me on this, but that is what I recall and if
that's the case, that will be damned fast, faster than the SATA drives.
Of course you never know what in the world Apple will rollout so
sometimes you wait and its just software or it may have nothing to do
with the computers directly; like Apple TV or something.

Well, shouldn't we go back to the questions I asked? Are there any bad things to say about the Mac, or is it running like a dream?

Hi,

It takes a while to float those Apples across the pond you know. It takes a little while to trudge through the snow to get them up to Canada as well.

Later...

Me too, it's the Scottish blood to blame.

These chaps across the pond don't have our problems with product release drag and can't get their heads around the fact that we will have to wait may be six months or so before apple ship over here.
Still they have to do all the beta testing for us don't they.
Shush, don't tell them!
