ok lets clear this little issue up. as someone who used cubase years ago and
even then it was virtually inaccessible with jaws for windows yes it had
keyboard implementation change for pro tools, logic etc.
with reference to your query. at present there needs to be development for a
blind user to use this software like logic, cubase and pro tools so all the
necessary groundwork is needed. yes the keyboard commmands are useful but to a
degree. the purpose of accessibility for a blind user of this kind of app
is that the software can interact directly with voice over. so information
like track names, markers, code, mixer changes, volume peak meter readouts etc
are spoken. not only that but voiceover is the eyes throughout for this
kind of system
my other query is this. you're using your card to conduct recording with
stereo pairs. you dont necessarily need to do that. go single channels per
source unless you have a synth using stereo spread functionality or 3 d
panning
effects or delays. if using microphones including XLR type then you're
using a single channel. if using multiple stereo channels you end up having
to
compensate the signals and attempt to balance the recorded audio. not only
that but panning becomes pointless. use panning effectively throughout the
stereo spectrum and your recordings become more unique and destinctive.
if you want to ask further questions regarding this matter then please do
ask us here however I will not be available for the next 2 to 3 days as am
having to transplant to another machine before my new mac arrives
I hope this can assist you somewhat and I appologise if I haven't been
clearer. I'm sure one of our other audio techs on here can give some advice
lol
or put you straight
