You might want to check out Mac the Ripper if it's still around. I think it
used to be accessible. don't know if they still make it. Another one is Hand
Brake. Maybe someone else has some experience with this. I seem to remember
some discussion on it.

standard DVD players can play, along with a simple menu, this is what
you'll want. It even converts a variety of video files to the

I've used it to make a couple of DVD's and it works brilliantly. I do
recommend checking the box to show Terminal, so that you can watch the
progress of the encodes, as it takes a long time, like all video
