Hey Robin.
I'm not really intending on building full websites that need to be coded by hand. The core of my sites are based around Wordpress, which makes a great cms. All I want to do is to create a page with an editor, render it as code, and paste it into the online html box, which is not accessible with the mac. I'm a right brainer. I don't do well with code. With the introduction of online cms's like wordpress, drupal, and joomla, the need to build websites from scratch is really a thing of the past. This gives those of us who can't code the ability to have great looking websites. I just want to find an editor that will do the trick. I've downloaded dreamweaver, and that is completely inaccessible. I've tried open office withno luck. Nisus writer has an insert hyperlink dialog, but not a choice to open that link in a new window, which I'm despritly searching for. Hope that makes things clearer about what I'm looking for. Thanks for your suggestions so far.

Hi Kevin,
I know my reply isn't exactly what you were looking for... Well, I
suggest you go learn HTML to be able to write your own websites. When I
used wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) editors, I got pissed
because of the really, really terrible HTML code that this editors
produce. There are many great HTML tutorials out there and it's not that
hard and you can design the websites exactly the way you want them to
be. Also, another great programming language to learn is PHP for dynamic websites after you learned HTML. But well, if you really want a wysiwyg, check out www.macromedia.com to see if Dreamweaver is available for MAC.
Hope that helps!
Robin

Subject: basic html editor.

Hey folks. I'm looking for a basic html editor that I can use
to creat
basic hyperlinks and such with. I installed Bean, but it wouldn't
allow me to create hyperlinks that opened in a new window. If anyone
knows of another one that will give me this functionality, I'll be
greatly appreciative. Thanks so much.
