If you set up your events to speak you'll hear everything including
who connected or disconnected or whatever. This has been going on for
a couple of weeks, and I would suggest you'll take a look at the
archives.

The tone which goes up means a person has just signed in, and the

The "system has new dialog" means someone has signed in too. I don't
know why VO is unable to read who has signed in, but I hope that
will be fixed soon.
Hope that helps.

Subject: Re: the new adium beta
This is a long shot, but I have a feeling hwat's happening, is a
contact is comeing online, or going offline, not totaly sure, mine
is saying the same thing, and i have no idea to get at whatever it
is that may be the new dialog. I find when i have Adium up, that
it's also happening when somebody signs into Skype as well. Could
that be something to do with Growl. I have a feeling that's what
it is, but I'm not sure. On 17-Jan-08, at 2:43 PM, Jed Barton

Hey guys, anyone running the new adium beta? I'm noticing
something interesting. I'm hearing a chime tone, one goes up and
one goes down. It's a tripple chime. I have no idea of the event
that it's doing, all my system says is system has new dialog, but
i can't find the mesage it is putting up.
Also is there a way to tell when you have a new message?
Thanks,
Jed
