Hello
I don't use vo find. It doesn't work for me. I use items menu on
internet, and text find elsewhere.
There is a bug in PDF and text views.
Turn cursor tracking off vo shift f3
Then try navigating up vo up arrow through the text.
Vo will go up a few lines, then it will refuse to go any further until
you press the vo left arrow.
Perhaps that may explain your moving problems James. Again, the
regular cursor tends to fix this.

I then needed to manually move through the doc until I was where I

First off, am I doing anything wrong by simply typing the text in

I know this is a VO thing, as I tried the plain Text Edit search
function with command F and it found the word immediately. So I'm
wondering what's up with the VO search?...
In this case, I was able to get around it, but I use the search
function all the time, for webpages, and have also encountered this
way too much for my comfort level. <smile>
Is there something I could be doing differently to cause this to
work better?...
