Thanks for any assistance So if I want to put songs on the the ipod, I have to make a playlist with all of the songs I want and then tell it to sync that playlist? If this is the case how to I add files to te playlist with out dragging and dropping them? Thanks again for the help.Î

Hi There
Regarding your automater workflow, these are the actions it must have at minimum for it to work:
get selected iTunes tracks
send songs to iPod
You then have to select tracks, and run the workflow. Personally, I think it's easier to get the iPod synched up either with your library or with a playlist of songs, but to do that you have to get around the iPod registration screen if you haven't already, or if you have a used iPod you might not even have to deal with that.
I'm happy to help any way I can with iPod issues.
