thanks a lot. Do you know if when the playlists are synced with the
ipod that I can select one of them instead of all of the tracks at
once to play? Say I have a playlist made by a crtain artist can I
select that playlist to hear songs from just that artist? Thanks again
for any help.

Hi
To add an item to a playlist, open it's context menu (vo+shift+m).
There will be a move to playlist submenu, under which you have all
the playlists. Just select the one you want and the song will be
placed in it. You can also do this when multiple songs are selected.

add files to te playlist with out dragging and dropping them?
Thanks again for the help.Î

Hi There
Regarding your automater workflow, these are the actions it must
have at minimum for it to work:
get selected iTunes tracks
send songs to iPod
You then have to select tracks, and run the workflow. Personally,
I think it's easier to get the iPod synched up either with your
library or with a playlist of songs, but to do that you have to
get around the iPod registration screen if you haven't already, or
if you have a used iPod you might not even have to deal with that.
I'm happy to help any way I can with iPod issues.

hi. I set up a work flow in automater to transfer songs to the

wrong? Is there an easier way to get songs on the the ipod?
please, any feedback would be extremely helpful.
