Hi Lewis,
You might have to make the folders you want to view share points. At least, this is what I had to do to get it all to work. This can be found in the sharing dialog of system preferences when you turn file sharing on.

A.R. Go to the Airport entry in the Status menu and navigate down until you find Create Network. Press Return and follow the instructions in the dialogue box. Once you've clicked on "OK", the other computer will see it as an available network in the Airport menu.
