actually, it is quite possible to fail a product for not having something it is felt to be required. This is what cost benefit annalisys is about. I personally have no problem with it because I'd either get a numpad or remap the keys or whatever but I do feel that not having the option is a step backward from a technological point of view. If Greg can find a convenient way to get it back, that would be lovely.
