Like any other table, interacting with it will prevent the announcing
of row numbers. Using VO to move to the column you want, (i.e. move
to the file name) then arrowing down with or without VO keys, will
announce only the contents of that column. Personally, I prefer
column view, but list view is nice from time to time.
