hey guys
Im back with a newbie question, lol. my dad has a mac running tiger that he
uses for work and is letting me play with, so I'm gettin' some first hand vo
experience this weekend!! and I'm pretty impressed with myself, i started
lookin' at it last night and I've already gone through almost the whole manual
and am navigating the finder and doc and different applications and dialog
boxes pretty confidently.
anyway, yeah. I was in text edit prefferences trying to change some things and
I found navigating multi-page dialog boxes really confusing. it seemed like
everything was just randomly clumped together. a friend from the list told me
that vo/space would select the tab and show only the settings for that tab, so
I tried it on the voiceover utility menu and in the text edit prefference
dialog, and it just kept bringing me to the spotlight, even though I was on the
tab I wanted to select. then, when I closed the spotlight menu, it would say,
for example, voices tab selected, but I'd still see settings for other tabs
too. so I'mnot quite sure why it was bringing me to the spotlight menu in the
first place when I was clearly on a tab, lol.
anyone have any suggestions?
