This sounds like an activity issue. something else is writing to the hd while you are moving around the document. It might be an autoback up or
something else you have running.

Subject: Problems with text editing

Hi all.

I have a very annoying problem while editing text:
Suddenly, Voiceover won't read the text while pressing the arrow keys.
I have tried to interact and stop interacting with all scroll and text
areas. When I'm using the VO cursor, it works fine. All cursors are
set to follow each others in Voiceovers Utility settings. Sometimes it
will read the text while pressing the arrow keys, and sometimes it
won't. This is both happening in Text edit and Bean. This makes me
unable to edit documents on my Mac, so I must do it on my Windows
machine.

Best regards
