Fusion auto-installs XP. YOu enter the XP key in a Fusion window, so it is entirely accessible. Installing Windows under VMWare was the first positive experience I've ever had installing XP independently, and the only truly accessible way of doing so. Personally, I don't count the scripted/unattended installs as accessible. Too much hassle.

Right. Once you're running the virtual machine it's like a new pc with a blank hard drive. What happens from there depends on what you're doing next but in general Windows XP installs don't have any audio cues as to what's going on. I'm assuming the Fusion people provide a pre-installed XP image of some sort but I can't imagine that is free. At least, somewhere you'll have to put in an XP license key.

They apparently put out a new release which now supports sound. I installed XP SP2 with Jaws under it and it seemed to be working ok.

Setup stuff doesn't seem to be very accessible but once it's running the start and stop stuff is in the menus. It does let me tab around and control the setup via the keyboard but VO was more or less silent. Anyway, it costs nothing to give it a whirl.
