Another key stroke that will take you to the doc is control+f3, which is a
mac os keyboard command. When comparing the doc to windows, I kind of think
of it as a combination of the task bar and desktop. It's where applications
go when you hide them, and you can add icons to it.

Hey there, Tiffany. Yes, the trash folder is in the dock, and you get to
it with VO D. You can then right or left arrow around to find what
you're looking for. The dock is sort of like a start menu and a task
bar. I know that is not really an accurate description, but it's the
only analogy to Windows that I can of, and I think you might be coming
