I certainly have no regrets about buying a mac. I do agree that Jaws is
Junk, I do use windows at work, and I do have a PC, but window eyes rules
for that. I've never liked Jaws by Freedom Science Fiction.Apple should be
commended for including a screen reader in their operating system, and yet
we have articles like this that say voice over does not provide nearly the
access that you have in windows. It's interesting that the article does not
go in to detail about what supposedly he can't access.

This pisses me off so much because the rat brained people have never
purchased a Mac, went into a Apple store or tested one for more than five
minutes. I'm glad for people on these list because I asked three
questions and with those responses I brought a Mac without touching one
and mastered it. It does everything I need want, and would like to do in
the future. Tell them to blog about the wasted money in JAWS upgrades.
$200 for three features to something that should have ben free. I can't
wait for the day when Voice Over is kicking there ass up and down the
street with a bull horn screaming you piece of crashing, useless crap of
a bloated screen reader. I said this without reading the defamatory
article. On May 20, 2008, at 9:50 PM, Mike Arrigo wrote:
Hi all. I'm not sure if anyone reads the access world magazine, produced
by American foundation for the blind, but the newest issue has an
article that mentions voice over. The article is about digital music
players. In the article, the writer mentions using the mac, and says
that voice over does not provide nearly the accessibility blind people
are used to on windows computers. I personally disagree, and I've only
had my mac for about two and a half weeks. If anyone is interested, here
is the link for the article.
