Here's my re-write:
We first tried to learn to use vista, but it crashed so often, we couldn't
use it so since we had to finish the article, we went out and spent 2,5
hundred dollars on a new fancy pc with a screen reader that we had to
purchase separately. Our new pc is nice and fast but we can't access all
the stuff on it with our most up to date screen reader and it's speech is
fast but garbled. We concentrated on ITunes for which we had to buy
scripts. Imagine that, a free program for which we had to buy scripts and
they are not cheap.

Subject: comments on voice over

Hi all. I'm not sure if anyone reads the access world magazine, produced by
American foundation for the blind, but the newest issue has an article that
mentions voice over. The article is about digital music players. In the
article, the writer mentions using the mac, and says that voice over does
not provide nearly the accessibility blind people are used to on windows
computers. I personally disagree, and I've only had my mac for about two and
a half weeks. If anyone is interested, here is the link for the article.
