Does anyone know if we can add additional US English dictionaries to
the list of included Mac dictionaries? For example if I wanted
Webster's dictionary in addition to what's already included.

there's a quicker way; VO F7 will open the VoiceOver menu and then
you can up arrow twice to the pronunciation editor directly.
Pressing return will open it. this gets you to exactly the same
dialogue.
HTH and have a great evening!…

Hi Chelsea,
To change VO's pronunciation, go into the VoiceOver utility (VO-
keys-F8)
and VO-keys right arrow to the pronunciation tab. Choose it (VO
space),
VO-keys right arrow to the button for "Add". Press the button (VO
space)
and a window will pop up prompting you for the text to amend, and
how
you want it pronounced, and return. Then use Command+W to close the
VO utility window.

Cheers,

Is there a way to add words to VO's pronunciation dictionary? I
notice that VO says names funny, and I am hoping that there is a
way
to correct its speech.
