Hi Esther,
I don't have a Mac yet, but hope to buy one later in the year.
Is the Voiceover dictionary limited to single words, or can it take phrases,
punctuation, smilies, etc?
Best wishes.
Ian

Hi Chelsea,
To change VO's pronunciation, go into the VoiceOver utility (VO-keys-F8)
and VO-keys right arrow to the pronunciation tab. Choose it (VO space),
VO-keys right arrow to the button for "Add". Press the button (VO space)
and a window will pop up prompting you for the text to amend, and how
you want it pronounced, and return. Then use Command+W to close the
VO utility window.

Cheers,
Esther
Is there a way to add words to VO's pronounciation dictionary? I
notice that VO says names funny, and I am hoping that there is a way
to correct its speach.
