did you check the speech item? ----- Original Message ----- From: "erik burggraaf" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by theblind" <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, June 07, 2008 1:00 AM Subject: Re: Apple's Calculator simply doesn't cut it
I've been thinking it doesn't work, but that's because vo doesn't seem to speak in that box for me. When I just did 2+2 to test it it worked fine, but my accuracy isn't always very good, and when I try to make corrections things go wrong. Yeh, when I make corrections everything disappears from the box or maybe just the last number I typed will be there. It's a bit odd. I don't really mind hitting the buttons, but if there's a better solution to be had it might be nifty to play. best, erik burggraaf Certified Technician Assistive Computing LTD Support and training Sales department: 888-828-2445 Support and Training: 888-255-5194 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Website coming soon On 6-Jun-08, at 1:25 PM, Darcy Burnard wrote: > Orin, you can indeed just type the numbers.
