Hi Darcy, I browse the Podcast Directory of the iTunes Store by keeping a link to the Podcast Power Search Page in my Safari Bookmarks. You can tab to text fields in the "iTunes dimmed image" part of the store, so as long as you know the field names.
I use: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa/wa/advancedSearch?mt=2 from Safari, which brings up the iTunes Store (in iTunes) set to the Podcast Power search page. Then I enter in search terms for Title, Author, and/or Description and press Enter. These are the 3 tab fields past the Search Text Field. (The first tab just takes you into the dimmed image window, so entries are tabs 2, 3, and 4 after the Search text field).
