Hi Janet and Felix, I forgot to add that you should use the item chooser menu (VO-keys+I) to navigate web pages to avoid images, etc. There are other tricks, like searching for a printer-friendly link (some pages have these to display content without images). Also, some web sites have accessible alternative pages, though I'm not sure what the status is for sites like Amazon that were supposed to be accessible by the end of 2007:

And I note that my cursor jumped when I was typing the first post: you can navigate to any of the menu bar entries with either the arrow keys or by typing the first letters of a Menu. This is generally true for navigation option under VoiceOver.
