I am purchasing the mac book with 4gb of ram, plus the 2.4 ghz option and
the 250 gb hard driuve. The memory at time of purchase is 200 bucks. I do
not feel like doing the work of opening the mac book up and installing ram
myself. With tax, it comes to $1818. I wouldn't run things through the mac
book's internal sound, I'd use an external audio interface for that.

You might be best served to get a Mac Book Pro, for the better sound
card. Why is your Mac Book price so high? For that type of money I
would get the MBP.
