I know, but I suppose I am lazy and I also am not as comfortable working in a laptop as I am on a desktop. I have some people advising me to go for the mac book pro as opposed to the mac book. I was looking at getting the 200gb 7200 rmp drive instead of the 5400 rpm drive and the same 4gb of memory. Will 7200 rpm drives matter if you are using soft synths like b4 and pro 53 and stuff? So far, none of the Mac software that we would even consider is quite accessible to us, so this is the best way. BTW, opening your Macbook and putting in new memory is the easiest thing! $200 is a rip for that, especially for less than $200 more, you can get the Macbook Pro that will be specked out better, and come with more memory.
