Hello,
Regarding Link Chooser.
What you do is this. After VO U then you locate the link you want.
Then you press VO Space once to actually select the link. and you are
where you can either press VO space again or press Enter to go to that
link.

Honestly, I do try it and it works, but not reliably. I hope that
with snowleopard some of this will get touched up. Another area I
think could use some work is the links chooser, assuming that it's
not just yours truly being inept, it rarely selects a link and moves
to the new page. I will go vo-u then find the link, press enter on
it and it will return to the page I visited and won't even flag the
link as "visited"
I've settled for just using arrow keys, so if anyone has
suggestions, greatly appreciated. I have also set my resolution to
1024*768 stretched for the benefit of a sited user that shares with
me. I wonder does resolution effect vo the same way it effects
windows screen readers?

Hmmm, interesting you should say it does work Dave. Never found it
very reliable on web pages. On Aug 8, 2008, at 1:22 PM, Jessi

unfortunately the VO find doesn't work yet, which makes no sense,
lol.
in order to find, you have to use the item chooser menu. it's
kind of
annoying, but so it goes lol. and yes, I've noticed the slowness of
safari when bringing up the item chooser and the links list,
grr!! but
I guess it makes us test our patience, lol. firefox isn't
accessible,
so I've heard.

Hi folks. Was wondering if there are any other settings I need to
change in order to get text that surrounds links when browsing? I
have already turned on the Highlight links with tab feature. Also,
when I do a find or a vo find, I don't seem to be routed to the
place where the text should be.
Thanks for any suggestions! I think there's just something I don't
yet understand about the mechanics of this new way of browsing
yet,
so I may be making simple errors.
I've also noticed that Safari takes it's own time when pulling up
the item chooser or the links list, has anyone experienced more
quickness with firefox?
Take care all, and thanks again for any suggestions.÷÷÷÷∂
