Dear David,
thanks for this information - very helpful for I hope not too distant
future. By the way, and slightly off topic, what do people on the list
use in terms of mobile phones with mobile speak from code factory?
Anybody using a smart phone without sight with this screen reader?
What are your experiences? Please e-mail me off line not to clog the
list up. I'm thinking of changing my mobile and using mobile speak as
I don't think Apple's Iphone is going to be accessible soon.
Thanks in anticipation, Simon

Incase some are unaware of this, codefactory has provided helpful
info on
installing mobilespeak on the mac in the "quick start guide". I had
forgotten this but remember seeing a while back and saw it again
today. If
you need help finding the guide, let me know and I'll send it to
you. One
of the things they do is link to a fairly comprensive page on how to
get
.exe files to extract on the Mac. One of the products they
recommend for
extracting files is something called "file chooser". It seems to be
free
and only extracts and save the .cab files from the mess.
I'm not saying that this is the solution that we should ultimately
have, but
it does show that CF has put some thought into mac os users getting
mss to
work using a Mac.
