Incase some are unaware of this, codefactory has provided helpful info on
installing mobilespeak on the mac in the "quick start guide".  I had
forgotten this but remember seeing a while back and saw it again today. If
you need help finding the guide, let me know and I'll send it to you.  One
of the things they do is link to a fairly comprensive page on how to get
.exe files to extract on the Mac.  One of the products they recommend for
extracting files is something called "file chooser".  It seems to be free
and only extracts and save the .cab files from the mess.

I'm not saying that this is the solution that we should ultimately have, but
it does show that CF has put some thought into mac os users getting mss to
work using a Mac.
