Done that too, only the end users don't have any power to update the thing. I was hoping at least a couple of people would pipe up and at least agree with me that yes this is in deed a problem that has been inhibboitting them, but no response at all.

Yes, on numerous ocasions, particularly on the issue of the download
wizard being out of date. The company I work for relies very heavily
on the download wizard, because we don't have the time or money to
keep up with every phone on every carrier. I even tried to get
wireless wave here in Canada to take an interest so we could train
mobile phone resellers and expand our knowledge of the various phone
options, but they aren't interested.

It's a real stumbling block for people, and it is really too bad when
uyou consider what a tremendous selection of phones there actually are
to choose from.

I have never had good luck writing to them. Tipicly they ignore me,
even though I work for a reseller. It's one very frustrating thing
about dealing with CF. They do watch the email lists though so I
posted there in the hopes that some one else would say, "yes I've
noticed this too. Let's do something about it." This hasn't
happened.

Hi, it's horendously out of date, but did you try the code factory
download wizard? You can choose sprint as your provider and see
what
phones come up. Don't forget though, you need to keep the same
formfactor of phone. So, if the Q is a pocket pc, then you need
another pocket pc phone. If it's a smart phone then you need
another
smart phone. Otherwise you'll have to buy a new flavour of mobile
speak.

So I am very confused! Do I need a PC in order to install mobile

Just as an additional FYI, I've been trying to use this app, and

far, -no luck with syncage!

Hi,

There is something called Syncmate, that works like the missing
sync, except it is free.

Reply if this interests you.

Thanks for listening,

Hello everyone,
I am getting ready to purchase a cell phone. I have not decided
at this point how far I want to go with the phone. I mean for
example Talks or Mobile Speaks. A Motorola Q or a Nokia N75 or
n82 for example.
But my big questions are these.
1. Is it necessary to use Missing Synch when working with file
transfers and the like? if so, how well does Missing Synch work
with VoiceOver under Leopard?
2. Generally, what phones work best with Mac under Leopard,,
not
Windows?
Thanks in advance for any of your thoughts.
Dan
