Esther, just wanted to let you know that we did figure it out, and yes, going into the user folder to Library to Preferences to com.apple.iTunes.plist and moving it to desktop, then opening iTunes, yes, it did as a whole slew of questions, but then when it opened, YEA! Then menu was back to normal! it would not open the iTunes store though. got to try again. We may have a new problem. For now, the old plist is still on Felix's desktop. gotta figure out now why iTunes won't open. We tried twice. don't know. Then we'll toss out the old plist.
Oh, *sigh* we were unable to figure out how to open a new user for his computer. I'm embarrassed at asking for help with what is probably a pretty simple process. What the heck. How is that done?! Thanks again so much for your help!! janet, & Felix
