Hello Marty; I also have a website. I can't answer your questions
about text editing in mac verses windows because I never did any
editing of my website on my windows computer. I can tell you that I
have been very happy with cute ftp for publishing to my website. It
is fairly easy to set up. And I only use a small portion of its
feautres. After install, you can do a download to install a copy of
your webpage folders on your mac mini. You can sinc from computer to
site, site to computer; or use the mirror feature that compares to
make sure all the same files are in both places. If you save a
current copy of your site on your windows computer before starting,
thne you could explore making changes and uploading them with your mac
knowing that you can always fall back to the saved copy on the windows
machine to reload the last working version of your site should you
need to. I hope that helps. Good luck and welcome to mac, Max
