For vo users, the nano will be speech enabled by default. The problem comes in that you have to set the language before you hook it to the computer.

The plastic box it comes in is easy to open, you just remove the tape from one end and the other end has tape that acts as a hinge. no distruction of
packing necessary.

Subject: IPod Nano Question

Hey guys,

I have a few real quick questions. I'm gonna be getting the IPod 8 gig Nano
with the speech today. I'm sitting here now waiting on Fedex. It's
apparently on the truck for delivery. In any rate, I'm curious: Will I have to enable the speech, as I seem to remember someone saying that you do, however, a friend of mine, is now telling me no, it's enabled by default, so, I was just wanting a little clarification. Also, does this thing come with ear buts? Finally, is the packaging quite easy to get into? It's not
a stupid plastic blister pack, that you gotta break into with either
scissors or a knife, I hope.

Chris.
