Yeah, I wish you could use the headphone jack as a mic jack as well.
And it would be most excellent if you could control the level so I
could for example use my iPod to record band practice.

would anyone recommend a good voice recorder that is compatible with
the mac? Was wanting to do some recording type stuff, and wanted to
extend my options with a voice recorder. If you can recommend a good
