Confirmed: It's a line-in jack only, at least as far as MacOS is concerned. I've heard a rumor that Windows on a Mini might be able to make it work as a mic jack, but I've never seen that confirmed. Sadly, the mixer(8) command from FreeBSD is not included in MacOS, nor are the /dev sound devices I'm used to in FreeBSD...so I don't have much else to test with.

You'd need an inexpensive USB soundcard with microphone input to make this work. The macbooks are the same way. Personally I just use USB headsets and have for quite a while, but you can get a minimal USB soundcard for around eight bucks which is all you'd need if you're just using it for input. That's not the answer you probably wanted to here, but hth :) On Oct 12, 2008, at 09:21, Victor Tsaran wrote: >Hello guys, >I am probably missing something obvious, but how do I get Leopard on >my Mac Mini to recognize microphone on my headset?
