Hi Mike,
Two questions. First, what is CNTOS5? Is it a gui, or shell only? What screen reader is running on it?

Second, any particular reason for an aversion to fusion? Asside from cost, or possibly some hardware compadibility issue particular to the distro you are using, I can't imagine why one would not want fusion. I could see preferring something else, but anyway...
