Hi Jacob,

Have you tried running a hardware synthesiser in a VM session using this
adapter? I tried and couldn't get mine to work, I just heard garbage coming
out of my Keynote SA when activating it under a VM session using Wineyes or
Jaws. Thanks in advance,

David Truong

I'll also recommend the Keyspan serial adapter. It works great and
handles every serial task you can throw at it. It costs $29, so it's
one of the more expensive serial adapters, but it's worth it if you
need it. The model number of mine, for the record, is the Keyspan
USA19HS. I got mine from newegg.com.
As one lister has said, make sure that it is indeed the serial
connection that you need. If you need a parallel connector then a USB
serial adapter won't help, and you'll need to find a USB parallel
adapter that has a Mac driver.
