Okay, so I found the Plantronics .audio 750 headset (which is leopard compatible) for $39 instead of $79 and a cable that has female and male as well as 25 and 9 pin serial connectors for $9.95 that I'll use to connect to my Keyspan adapter. http://www.jr.com So I'm fine there. But now I need a scanner that I can use with Vuescan. The most important requirements are that it's under $100 and that the lid opens all the way so I can scan thick materials. I considered the CanoScan LiDE 600F, since the lid opens 180 degrees and it's even accessible with my Compaq Armada running Windows 98 and comes with Omnipage. But they're all too expensive. Cannon had a refurbished one for $54 but it's not adding it to my cart. Any help would be appreciated.
