Well, I went and bought the 5600 in person, so that if I don't like it
or if it doesn't work, I can send it back.  I didn't realise that this
model requires a power cord instead of just a usb connection.  I'm
thinking of sending it back on that alone but who knows?  I could try
it and love it and it's not like I'll be carrying it everywhere I go.
If I can get it to work with Vuescan without a hitch I'll be happy.
