Hmm, I am a little confused myself. when you ran the connection doctor
in Ichat the software did not indicate anything was wrong? and then
when you looked in the video preferences in Skype the camera pop up
menu was completely blank? there were no options at all when you
clicked on the pop up button?
Do I have all of that correct?

As i said, the only thing this provided me with was even more
confusion.
When i go into the sound menu, (video menu doesn't exist in my
version of Ichat), and check the computers possibilities, in the
connection doctor? "In swedish it's connection viewer" it says that
i can video chat and have fullscreen video etc, and the log says
nothing wrong, yet when i go into the preferences of the program, it
claims that no camera is connected to the computer.
In Photo booth, it's impossible to take pictures and the prefs of
Skype only shows a blank popup when trying to chose a camera.
This is mighty strange and i'm utterly confused. What can i do now?
I have reset the pram to no avail.
