True, that applies to any USB device. In sleep mode, the ram is the only thing that remains powered, everything else including the USB ports are turned off. So that's something to be aware of if you have anything that charges via USB, or in any other way relies on USB power. I only let my computer automatically sleep if it's on battery. If I'm on AC I make sure it doesn't, since it seems to suspend when I least want it to :).
