Hey there David.
Combo updater you say?
Is that the default update that Software Update gives you by default?
Or is that something you have to go and get yourself from the actual
download page provided by Apple? Since, she just got her mac, I would
asume that the como updater would be used when upgrading to 10.5.6,
while not used when a user is doing an incramental upgrade through
Software Update.
If needed, I will give it a shot.
Take care.

Hey thre everyone.
How goes it?
I have a friend who recently just got a mac, and is getting used to
it all. I am helping her along as she learns it.
Anyhow, she was playing around with Safari, while visiting
livejournal's website.
The website is as follows should you not be familiar with it.
http://www.livejournal.com/
So, she was viewing her account, and while viewing her frinds page,
which is a list of all recent entries written by her friends, Safari
would crash, and come up with the relaunch dialogue.
All she did was, navigate the page normally with VO, and it would
crash.
She just got her mac, so she has only updated up to 10.5.6, and is
currently up to date with all the software.
She let me view her account, and I logged in as her, and viewed her
friends page with no issues or crashes what so ever.
She also mentioned, that it would be fine for a while, and then
crash after using Safari. While this all happend, she was still on
the live journal page, and still browsing her friend's entries.
Has anyone experienced this? Any guidance that you could give to
why it is crashing?
Thanks.
