Hi Dan I assume you mean the iPod touch? The nano does not have
wireless as a feature. TO answer both questions, you can do several
things, but here is what I suggest. At the very least, as long as all
devices on the network support wpa or wpa2, I would use this as the
encryption scheme. I would not use wep of any type. Your other option
is to use mac address filtering and this will keep folks off your
network, but not from sniffing your network and that is why I prefer
wpa/wpa2. The Icon does support wpa2 so you shouldn't have any problems.
