The RISC principle. Make the 80% of instructions that are used 80% of the time the most efficient. Don't compromise this for a few obscure things that can still be achieved but a bit more slowly by building from simpler instructions. These things don't happen often so overall you get greater productivity even if they are slow because the most used stuff is a lot faster. Personally I have never seen what all the fuss is about on the issue of word count. Open a blank document, copy and paste your para into it and there you have a para word count. Probably takes one or two seconds longer to do that than go to a specific menu item. How many people regularly need to count the words in a para? To me getting better support for vector graphics is far more important, getting documents to load and save faster is far more important. -- Ian Lynch <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ZMS Ltd --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
