Sorry, but do you really read the mails you answer? It has been
mentioned several times (f.e. in my mail that you replied to) that even
the "reduced" quickstarter icon serves an interactive purpose: you can
remove OOo from memory. That wouldn't be possible for a "TSR" without a GUI.

You can be sure that without this option many people would complain that
when the quickstarter is enabled they can't get rid of the OOo process
without killing it in the task manager.
