Can you think of any idea to improve the ammount of recognition volunteers get?

Hi Steve, Danil, others,

Some lists have a (bi) weekly standard mail. With some text about rules, expectations and so on.
Seeing the high volume on [Users], one extra post a day would not that much matter.
So a short, attracting text, explaning te volntair character, asking posters to give positive feed-back, ...
If it easily hits people's eyes, newcomers most likely will see it.

greetings,

Cor

The problem, not to be negative, is that new users, wouldn't see this post.

I like CPH's post, but I worry sometimes that it is too long. Maybe only allow posts from unsubscribed users from a form, and they have to go through instructions, like when you click on file and issue off the main page, you are given a search box right away, maybe set up the users list like that.
