Hi Alex,

As an record manager / archivist, I don't think it's a good classification method. Try saving your files by activity or subject. Classification by type of document should be your last resort. In any case, consult with the record manager of your company for more info.

Alright, I guess nobody's interested in this. There's too many more interesting topics to discuss. I just think this could be a really good enhancement. I think this would be a good enhancement. I like to keep spreadsheets separate from text documents, drawings,... . I know I can do that without any enhancement to OOo, but it would make it more convenient.
