At my home office I am using Thunderbird from Mozilla with the Calendar add-in...unfortunately, I am finding it doesn't do the job. It is FANTASTIC for a home email client, general use...but for someone who is used to outlook or Novell's email client, Thunderbird comes way short, even with the Calendar add-in. The Lightning add-in looks more promising, but still does not have the functionality of Outlook.
It saddens me to say it, but I am going to have to start using Outlook again. OpenOffice will still be my office suite, but Outlook is a necessity, until a comparable product comes to the market that will integrate as tightly with OpenOffice as Outlook does with M$ Office. I'm surprised that OpenOffice/Sun are not working on a major PIM project, considering this seems to be the singularly most asked for addition to OpenOffice. :) Sincerely, Andrew Robertson derma e(r) Natural Bodycare Export Manager Ph. 805-582-2710 xt. 244 Fx. 805-582-2730 [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.dermae.net -----Original Message----- From: Jan Bassez [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, April 11, 2006 6:13 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [discuss] Email ccng schreef: > Dear Sir, > > Why open office do not create the email application, which similar with to Outlook.
