I am using opensource alternatives ( Evolution/Kontact ), BUT how can so
"called" promoters of OOo expect to use it widely, if it has not the
same "components" as its competitor, and even MORE? I mean MS office.
And who said, there can not be made a better mail/PIM application than
Evolution, Kontact, Thunderbird or whatever ? ? ? They are NOT far as
flawless as it is claimed to be !
Please, reply my post, if you still dont understant my point. Have a nice day all :)

In my work I have learned to appreciate the separate applications over integrated applications. Better working together is a great goal and I would like to see integration tools between Thunderbird/OOo in the future. Of course I have not found any issues that need a better integration other than possibly address book. Of course a generic address book would be good all over. A quick search on Google shows >52,000 links for using TB address book in OOo.

I used to use Mozilla but have recently moved to FF/TB because of speed and reliability.

What specific features are really needed that cannot be achieved with individual applications?
