Money pays for developers. Developers get things done. It's a simple
relationship. Of course developers don't *have* to get paid to
contribute, but then you rely on volunteers. If Microsoft stopped paying
all it's developers tomorrow, minus a skeleton staff of similar size to
Sun's paid team working on OpenOffice, development would slow down there
too.
Some people, who seem to be in key positions, like the way OO's internal
structure is organized.

That's a vague conspiracy theory if I've ever heard one. What changes
would you make to OO's "internal structure"?
