IOW, if you want to create a program that just deals with databases, the
ODF Toolkit will contain a component that is database specific.

The ODF Toolkit could be a "backend" to something written specifically
for people who use toggle switches to interface with their computer. Or
use a Perkins keyboard for data input.  [And yes, there are blind people
who prefer using a Perkins keyboard rather than a regular keyboard for
communicating with their computer.]
