I'm finding this whole idea very interesting. One concern, not all of
us run slick, up-to-date, computers; would this integrated approach
vastly increase the memory/processor use? Of course that's no excuse
for programing to not move with the times, i just want to know. Would
it be workable to universalise the file format so that every file
opened in every program but you still retained the specific focus of
each program with a general all-round use?

I am a computer hardware (not software) expert, but from what I do know,
integrating the sections of OOo would not likely increase hardware
utilization, and might even slightly decrease it if written well
enough. Also, the cost of hardware has come down to the point where
upgrading or even building a new core system, case/ps, mobo, chip,
memory, hd, optical dr. may cost as little as $300. If you order the
parts over the internet and build it yourself, as little as $215. plus
shipping.
